Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary
Located just 12 km from Brisbane CBD, Lone Pine Koala
Sanctuary is the world’s first and largest koala sanctuary.
It has been a home to over 100 koalas and 70 species of
Australian native animals making it a perfect
opportunity to bond with these furry, feathery and scaly
friends. Check out the shows, presentations and photo
ops happening all day long. Make sure you attend the
free-range kangaroo feeding session as well! Also, don’t
be scared to come face-face with Australia’s largest apex
predator, the saltwater crocodile, at the new 360-
degree crocodile viewing dome!
Tangalooma Island
With its crystal-clear water and pristine beaches,
Tangalooma Island gives you an opportunity to have
some adventure, explore wildlife or just soak up the
sun! The island offers varied activities right from Desert
Safari tours with sand tobogganing and ATV quad bike
rides to guided snorkel tours at the wrecks. Get a chance
to interact with the local marine life by attending the
daily Pelican and Seabird talk, Kookaburra feed. But the
most exciting part of the island is the lovely bottlenose
dolphins who visit the island shores every evening to be
hand-fed by the resort guests. That’s a memory to last a
