Western Australia has finally opened its borders to international travellers, it is one of the last states to open its doors after a strict 2-year border restriction. In hopes of creating an exciting experience for international passengers, The State Government will be giving away more than $500,000 worth of vouchers for WA’s most attractive tourist spots when the borders will open this week. In celebration of the border opening, Tourism WA will hand out 3400 of the ‘Gifts From Western Australia’ – two-person vouchers, valued from $150 to $2200 for a three-day tour within the Margaret River. The vouchers will be handed out to incoming passengers at Pert Airport and the campaign will showcase and encourage travellers to support local tourism operations during their trip. WA has breathtaking attractions you can showcase to your clients, some of the locations include Skydiving at Rottnest Islands, Trips to the Pinnacles and swimming with dolphins.
